So, the nice picture has appeared now. Thanks. It is a painting that my wife bought five years ago and has been in our living room to remind of her father's death.
In regards to your avatar we have a developer looking into this as we speak. This should be resolved today.
It sounds like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy could be a good fit for you. With CBT, if you put the work in then you will see results. There is a lot of reading and homework but the effort is certainly worth it. Start with session 1 and take time with each session. Also, post in the support group often - we can help you through this.
I'm immediately back to comment my own message. Because I fetched a very beautiful picture as avatar from my PC, but it didn't show along my posting (there was a starndard butterfly picture). So I'm trying this comment, to know if it would show now.
And my nickname "Kesakuu1" is the same as "June 1st" in Engligh. My gender is male, and I'm occupied by an engineering company.
What about June 1? Because my major psychic disorder started that day, back in 1981 at age of 27. Now I'm 58 years, and latest episode started fall 2005, exactly 7 years ago. It is a mild depression. No therapy has helped, I had those in the 80's and 90's. Medication helps somewhat, especially in deeper depression. I was thinking that 5 years is the max time for me to be depressed, so I was eagerly waiting fall 2010 to see if my mood would improve. It didn't! So I've been thinking of cognitive or analytic therapy, but happened to hear a news in the paper saying that therapy by electronic means can be as effective as a personal therapy. So I googled, and foung this we site. I have now taken two of the first lessons. So hello everyone.
