It was strong of you to reach out on the site! I have learned that it is okay to feel down sometimes, we can't always be happy but we need to learn to balance everything so that we can be healthy.Just remember to come back on the site, go through the programs and even look at some activities that might help you cope. For me personally, I usually go for a walk when I'm feeling down, it helps me to get some fresh air and it lets me think about what's going on and how I can challenge those thoughts. We're all here to support each other! What do you think could help you cope?
Just a note to let you know I am here listening..You are not alone it this. I am glad you came on and posted about how you are feeling right now..Posting really does help and like ~m and Ashley said help is just a keystroke away..Know that there is usually someone on line reading and listening even if they are not able to respond know that they are listening and do care..Take your time and try to read a little bit of the program when you can. It takes time but in time you will see that it really does help..
I'm sorry you feel this way. Know it will pass - this is temporary. ~m has give you some great advice. Take things slowly - do what you can. Post if you need us - we are just a few key strokes away.
Hi Becki... since you are here again, my guess is that you have not completely given in to the depression which is good... a sign of hope. There are members here for you to hold onto as you get started on the program. You have much to lose by giving in and a life to gain by getting started. How about just one page of the educational section? Post that you have read it. And post any reactions or questions you have. You need to participate in the program for it to do you any good ... One page... if that is not possible try one paragraph... or set yourself a time period of just 5 or 10 min. to read some of the provided information. You are worth the effort.
I have had set backs before, I have always got back up and carried on.....This time is different. I have so many different thoughts and feelings going round in my head that I honestly do not know what is going on.
Dont want to get up, go out, get ready anything. Really want to just shut myself away
