I am sorry to hear about your recent loss and all you have had to go through. It sounds like you are dealing with a lot of tough feelings right now. Please know that you are not alone. We are here to support you through it, every step of the way.
I am glad that you decided to get an evaluation as it is important to determine what exactly is holding you back, depression, an anxiety disorder, ADD/ADHD or something else. If what you are diagnosed with is depression this program can certainly help. Even if you are not diagnosed with depression this program still may be able to help with certain aspects. Have you had a chance to check the program out yet? Any questions so far?
My name is jonathan, 34 years old from Montreal, Canada.
I found this site today while looking at forums about people having suicidal thoughts and feelings of loss...
I lost the woman I loved due to an undiagnosed depression that I've had to deal with most of my life...only since she left me has it dawned on me that my failures in life were due to low self-esteem and fear of failure that lead to increased feeling of sadness and overwhelming guilt over the years since my childhood...
Now I have to deal with all the consequences of my past choices and I feel like I cannot live with the increasing pain of being depressed and being abandoned by the person I cared most for...and it makes it worse to know that I could have gotten help if only I had realized my illness...I have to deal with all sorts of problems all a once alone with nobody to help...since most people and friends I speak with just tell me to snap out of it...i would if I could...
Anyways hopefully I will find some help here while I'm on a psych evaluation list to see a psychological expert...
