"Newbkr: (from a book on race training) YOURE NOT MAKING A DECISION WHETHER TO SMOKE WITH EACH CRAVING. THE DECISION GETS MADE ONCE. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO NOW IS WHATEVER IT TAKES TO FOLLOW THROUGH ON THAT DECISION. YOU KNOW ITS THE RIGHT DECISION. DO NOT LET A CRAVING MAKE YOU DOUBT IT."
..WOW...Thanks hummy for posting all the advice, this one in particular above is something that really hits home and feels quite applicable. As hard as it feels sometimes, I just know the decision within me has been made.
Ron, I feel you have made the same one. Now it's how to stay true to it.
We're all finding our way.
It reminds me of that saying, the blind leading the blind, but in this case some of you seasoned ex-smokers are bumping into the walls before some of us newbies and though we can't see the walls you can tell us where they are and we can learn from you.
Ron I believe you will not have a problem keeping true to your quit. You've figured out all your other triggers and how to handle them, just like you said, and I believe this advice confirms it to the 'nth' degree.
Ron..Congrats on your stats!!!! STAY STONG!!!
Many Blessings
