I don't know what happened this week; combination of work stress, depression because of weight gain I can't seem to stop...I just decided to hell with it, I'll go back to smoking a few cigarettes a day. Which I did, for less than 24 hours. This afternoon, climbing the steps to our attic office, I realized my heart was pounding. Stupid, stupid, stupid....how could I forget the yucky taste in my mouth and the clogged head and the sore lungs and the pounding pulserate?
I went out and bought another box of 7mg patches to wear for a few days, threw the cigarettes in a dumpster and here I am again, penitent. I really, really don't want to fail after all this misery...
