I'm so new to this, maybe I've misunderstood? I do tend to see things in black and white, but I also recognize there are grey areas as well... except not with addiction.
I know for sure that I cannot take one puff, or one drag ever because if I do, I am no longer smoke free.
The nicodemon perched on my shoulder would whisper into my ear that one drag is no big deal, and I would believe that, until next weekend, or the next time I'm out with smokers. Then he would whisper in my ear that I handled having one drag so well, why not go for a whole cig and the cycle has begun.
Or, I've completely misunderstood this whole thing, and if so, I do apologize :)
