It'll be Thursday, June 22, 2006 at about 6:30 pm I think......
Seriously -
I have the same thoughts some times - here I am over 100 days in and I'm still working at it.
YUP - That's the way it is. I took 29 years to get to the point I was at. I'd be pretty much fooling myself if I though 100 days was going to erase 29 years. That ain't gonna happen I'm afraid.
Some people walk away from it and never seem to crave, others need to work at it. I fall into the need to work at it category. So... I WILL!
You know what? I don't care if I still get craves at a year - the nicodemon cannot have back what I've taken from it. SCREW IT! This quit is mine and nothing is gonna take it away, not a trigger, not a crave, not my own lack of will power - NOTHING.
MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE!
I don't care how long it takes. It'll take whatever time it takes. One day I will not even think about a smoke. That day is still a ways away. No problem. I get closer to it every second now. I am winning and intend to keep doing so.
Good luck in dealing with it. I know you can.
