But for some reason today after eating dinner im craving a cig.. I havnt had 1 for 3 weeks a craving that is and now i am craving one like crazy!!! I dont know why the smell of cigs have been making me sick when i smell one but i have that horrible craving right now... I would never smoke a cig to make the craving go away cause i have gone so strong for 3 weeks.. I have been having these dreams that i end up lighting a cig up after not smoking for weeks and then i would start up again.. i dont want to start up again and i dont want to keep puting food in my mouth to stop the craving.. is there anything i can do to make this craving go away? Hi Sweet, today was a bad crave day for me (and I ate alot too). The breathing exercises help somewhat and distraction, distraction. I also wanted to say congratulations. Breathe, SweetLuv, breathe! I know it seems obvious, but I can't tell you how many times I forget to breathe. I'll feel SO uptight, SO out of sorts and then I (finally, sometimes anyway) remember to breathe, breathe big, deep, slow breaths. It truly does help and it keeps you occupied during a crave. I read somewhere that you should time it -- that keeps you busy and helps you realize just how short a craving actually is. I've been one of the lucky ones and haven't dreamed about smoking, so I can only imagine how disconcerting that could be, but remember it is your subconscious talking to you, your junkie subconscious perhaps. Slap that junkie down, asleep AND awake! You are doing great -- keep it up and keep the faith My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 113 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,557 Amount Saved: $904 Life Gained: Days: 14 Hrs: 21 Mins: 39 Seconds: 2

Sweet, Keep busy! Start a journal and write down your thoughts. This can also help pinpoint triggers and thus it will enable you to prepare for them :) How are you today? Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
