Mr. Ed,
So glad your feeling better. Sometimes, I have to stop what I'm doing (if angry, frustrated, depressed, down, sad), and evaluate why I'm feeling like that. It just takes a couple of minutes, but I try to do that so I can recognize what exactly is going on with my mood, and come up with a plan (other than thinking about a smoke).
It's important to recognize our feelings and come up with creative and effective ways of coping with every day life and stress. I actually sometimes finding myself taking deep breathes when I'm frustrated, and that seems to really calm me down.
It's a learning process...learning how to cope with life as a non-smoker, and it can be done!!! :)
