Hey Suzie, you're doing great and you rock! You're fighting the one thing your body has decided it needs, so yeah, there's bound to be some conflict going on. Good news is, it won't last too long -- all bluster and no substance. Your liberation looms larger with each successful day.... peteg My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/30/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 105 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,250 Amount Saved: $577.5 Life Gained: Days: 19 Hrs: 4 Mins: 11 Seconds: 21

Susie, Dizziness is a common withdrawal symptom and is can be attributed to increased oxygen supply going to your brain. This is temporary and it passes. A swing in emotions is also common so be sure to be kind to yourself until it passes. Reward you find pleasurable can give you the mood boost you need. Hi Susie - listen to Katy she always has great advice. You will feel very "easily injured" for the first couple of weeks, it's emotionally exhausting to quit smoking! That's why so many people complain they are tired and weepy ! Hang in there and remember to reward yourself and really do something that you enjoy. We sometimes forget to be really nice to ourselves. Meditation and relaxation is very important now and should take priority over housework and all the other stuff in your life. It's YOUR time to tak great care of you. You're doing great! Hang in there and yes, you will be free and it's SO worth it! Sunday.....Sunday. I kept myself busy. Cleaned out wardrobe, ironed, cooked.......Still got the wobbles! Felt like a 5 year old. Ended up having a good cry! Don't know why I was crying. How can I want a ciggie when I want to quit?? It's after 6 now and I feel better. A bit dizzy? Probably down to the emotional day. Anyway I will keep going. I know that somewhere along the line, I will be free.
