Craving, craving, craving ... My question is: - Craving for what?! :)
In my own experience, in the last 65 days of quitting, I did not crave for cigarettes, but I craved for ... COMFORT! :)
Previously, as a smoker, whenever I craved for comfort, I reached for a cigarette. Now, I must replace it by different means: deep breath, icy drink, coffee, meditation, brisk walk in the open space, write to this SSC forum, etc ... and as a last resort: one or two puffs from the NRT inhaler (and/or a small piece of NRT lozenge, cut into 4 small pieces) to calm it down! :)
Aa someone has said, time is a great healer. Gradually, day by day, the craving becomes less intense, and I feel more confident to cope with it, in a gentle and patient manner. I often tell myself: "It takes time to change a 35-years habit of smoking. Be patient! One day at a time!" :)
Cheers,
