Hi folks - I just read a thread that made me realize that we may be discouraging some people at the beginning of their quit. For all you people who are starting out, it does get better.
I think, during this quit, I have been reluctant to post my successes because somehow I felt that this would be unfair to the people who were going through a rough time.
However, I often post when I am going through a rough time and need some extra support or advice.
I just realized that this is probably misleading to people who are just starting out. During the first week of my quit, every day was bad. Now, after 60 days, I have some bad days....but I have also had many many good days. I do not plan to smoke...but I do realize that I still have lots of growing and learning to do to be successful for life.
From now on, I will post the good days too...and I really hope that others will share all their great experiences with people at the beginning of this journey.
