Hi Rtchick. Good going so far. Just want to warn you to be prepared. Sometimes after several surprisingly smooth days you will get hit with a sudden overwhelming monster craving. It doesn't happen to everyone, but you should BE PREPARED!
If it comes, try to head it off at the pass by repeating (out loud if nec) "I do not smoke anymore. Having a cig or even a puff is not even an option". Have substitutes - sucking candy, gum, licorice, straws - whatever will work for you. Talk about it to those you love and trust - but be careful of current smokers - sometimes they subconsciously want you back in their ranks, or so I hear.
Also, come to this site and read and post as often as you need to. That has helped me many a time. I know I'm still relatively new at this, but I've been reading and posting and learning so much.
I've also found helping others makes me stronger in my quit!
