try,
what do the instructions say?
I'm not using nrt, so I can't answer your question.
The reason i am replying to the post though,
I am going to follow the directions of the rx I am using. If at the end of the 12 week program...I don't feel like a non-smoker...I am going to be asking questions of "WHY?"
Just so you know, and I'm sure your reading many posts just like the rest of us. I do feel like a Non-Smoker at this point and very good I might add.
What I am using is expensive too, but...it's worth it to me and actually is cheaper than buying my ciaretts.
Now you know you could go cold-turkey? You could just stop using the gum, maybe replace it with regular gum...? Of course you won't be getting the nicotine...and you will start withdrawal that will last 3 or so days.
Are you mentally prepared to deal with the withdrawal,Craves, and Triggers?
Are you ready to say "I Don't Smoke"?
Personally, from what I read from you...I think you can. I believe you are strong enough to do it. I also believe there are many here who would agree!
