Kayla, I also had a hard time sleeping at first. Here is what I think happened to me. My subconscious and conscious mind were so keyed up on quiting that it is all I ever thought about. It was totally controlling. I think it even took over my sleep. So what I started doing was taking very deep breaths as I fell asleep and imagined myself as a carefree nonsmoker. I went over all the great things I was doing for myself. I went into great detail with fantasizing about scenes I could be in as a nonsmoker. By the time I got all this done I was so relaxed I started falling into very peaceful sleeping patterns again. This is a great thing...don't let it be a stressful thing! Or at least try not to My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/25/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 53 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,071 Amount Saved: $218.36 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 8 Mins: 31 Seconds: 9

kayla, We are here for support and knowledge, so stop by often! Shopping is a great reward and a great way to spend time with your daughter. Plan more outings like this as a reward for you both :) Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
