Hi Jean,
We are all so different but I don't believe we all need to keep our guards up... Smoking really is a choice. It really is all about commitment, isn't it...?
Each of us was a newbie when we began this journey, and we must find our way. I know for a fact that this place has most, at least, of what we need, IF we bring our own grounded commitment to this journey.
This is a tough journey, it really, really is, and it is doable, one step at a time.
It helps IMHO to remember how deep and challenging this journey is and can be for some... emotions come to the surface which we have never really learned to deal with as our smokescreen was also our buffer, so learning to take care of ourselves, on a more intimate level, is a big part of this Awakening.
Those struggling, be kind and gentle w/yourselves. Take it easy and give yourself time to heal physically, spiritually and emotionally.
Blessings and Light-
Healer
