Hey Sam and Blue Clouds.. Yes, this is very normal, and yes - you're going to survive, and so will all the people aorund you that you yell at. LOL
You don't have to just hang on and go for a roller coaster ride though. I have two recomendations. For One, more reward. Reward is important because it helps with seratonin production and use in your brain.. something that smoking used to do. Do whatever it is that will make you feel good! A nap, a hot bath, a hot fudge sundae, a new outfit, a walk in the park, a long distance call to your best firend? Just do it for yourself - you deserve it.
The second thing is to spend some time doing some reading in here and doing searches for past thread about these things, and ask questions.. educate yourselves. Know what's expected of you, and what's to be expected of your adiction and the quit. No two quits are the same, so you won't have the same stuff that everyone else does, but at least you'll have some idea.
Some places out there tell you over and over that the nicotine will all be out of your body in 5 days and then you are free.
... If it was that easy then we'd all have quit a long time ago.. nobody REALLY enjoys it, no matter how much they claim to.
You're doing a wonderful job!
