I've just come back from Spain where I was on holiday with my mother as a reward for not smoking for six months. I spent all the saved money on the holiday. Stopping smoking IS worth the agony and time soon mounts up.
The hotel we were in laid on some dubious entertainment and one night it was this little Spanish bloke with an electric organ and one of the tunes he played was 'I Belong to Glasgow'!
Mind you that wasn't as bad as his version of 'Danny Boy' when he sang from the sheet "the pies the pies are calling".

well folks day 43 will be over soon and i feel good today think its time to buy myself a mountain bike and hit the hills have wanted to do it for some time but was scared coz i was a smoker and dident think ma body could cope with something healthy lol so ive been doing some walking the last 6 weeks to build up ma energy .had to go to hospital with a friend today nuthin bad he just got a health check but i could hear the doc talking to another patient through the curtain but he was tellin the doc that he drinks 8 pints of beer a day and smokes 60 ciggs a day jeez 60 ?? i thought 20 was bad lol well recently ive not had any craves just not that keen on being around smokers i also noticed today all the smokers at the hospital entrance crazy anyway hope you are all doing good keep up the great work fellow quiters. :)
