Thanks Boxerfan
I will try to get as much rest as possible. Tomorrow afternoon I'm going over to my friend Betty's place and spending some time with her. She's been a geat support for me and a real cheering section like you guys.
Good night.

Gin,
Glad to hear you're doing well on day one. Give yourself a big pat on the back for getting right back on track. Pamper yourself and get plenty of rest these first few days. You CAN do this!

Hi Doodles
Thanks for the encouragement. I read Allan Carr's How to Stop Smoking and it helped me only for a little time. I think I wasn't ready then to quit...that's why. I'll reread it again when I get a copy of it. I lent it to a friend of mine and haven't gotten it back.
I'm still feeling pretty good and I think I'll sleep good tonight. I just hope I don't dream like I have been. A lot of dreams I find myself smoking. I guess subconsciously I'm thinking about it when I fall asleep.
Talk to you all tomorrow.

You have a great attitude!!!
Distraction or delaying, this keeps working for me......
It gets easier everyday, believe it or not!!
I use to read these posts and really didn't believe that it would ever get easier......... BUT IT DOES
read & posting really helps
Allan Carr has a great book about how to stop smoking...

Well, I'm passed another craving. Went to a meeting tonight and it helped me not think of smoking. I'm looking forward to tomorrow and not having smoked. I feel pretty up right now and I hope it keeps up.
