Anna Your non-smoking husband says WHAT? Just as well it's 372 days. Much less than that and I think that would be just the trigger to get you back to smoking! ;) Kristilu Didn't know you had a smoking hubby. Makes your trying so much more impressive. I'm sure it would help but you don't need a spouse to quit with you; you can do it for yourself, by yourself. Stick with it and good luck. Keep looking for more positive results from not smoking. Does your face have a healthy glow yet?? That is one of my faves. I never realized how much I did cough until I quit. And of course my non-smoking husband got to say, "I told you so...." eeerrr My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 372 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,580 Amount Saved: $1,562.40 Life Gained: Days: 35 Hrs: 8 Mins: 46 Seconds: 58

Jazz, Isn't it awesome? Your posts are always so upbeat and I can see success written all over your quit! It is amazing how quickly our bodies want to undo what we did to ourselves for so long. And as the others said, it just keeps getting better. Cigarettes Not Smoked

Hi everyone. We can't believe how much different our bodies feel in just under 2 weeks of not smoking! I've been staying fairly active with walks (almost on a daily basis). Last night after work, I snowblowed and shovelled our huge driveway and stairs, then hubby and I took the dogs for a 3km walk (with 4 big hills). No wheezing, coughing, or stopping on the uphill grade. The other big difference I've noticed is that hubby's not constantly clearing his throat anymore. He always seemed to have a funny tickle that need clearing every couple of minutes, but it's completely gone! We just assumed it was something he'd have forever, but I guess it's always been related to his smoking. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/3/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 12 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 240 Amount Saved: $91.20 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 7 Mins: 23 Seconds: 54
