hey Lil, reading your words is like listening to myself few weeks ago. I have been suffering from panic attacks for few years. they started just afetr I started dating my husband. At the beginning I was too ashemed and scared to tell him about the attacks. so, I kept them secret , which wasn't easy. Finally, one day I decided that if I want to spend the rest of my life with this guy he needs to know what is going on with me. I told him everything, I even made him read everything about panic attacks. He was kind of surprise at the beginning cause he has never heard about panic attacks before but he started learning more and more about them. now he is my biggest support and i don't know how I would handle the attacks without him. also, was horrified before our wedding. I could picture myself having a pnic attacks in front of the alter and then running away from the church. but nothing like that had happened. I had one Xanax between my flowers, just in case! it made me feel safer. also, having all people that I love around me, my family and friends make you feel better! anyway, I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone. I have been through the same things and I am oki! so, I hope you will have a beautiful wedding and your partnet will help ypou to deal with panic attacks.

Lilly if I were you I would try the program here on the site. I bet it would hugely help with your thoughts.

I'd highly recommend either the panic program on this site or speaking to your doctor about something similiar in your community. I have suffered panic the majority of my life and the first step is recognizing and accepting that it is panic and the second step is confronting the anxious feelings and learning to rethink. We have learned behaviors from previous panic attacks and we need to retrain ourselves and change our thought programs to be able to be effectively over these thoughts.

Dear Freinds, This is a great site, and by going through it i see many of you are able to take a good control of your toughts and behaviours, my biggest probleems is controling my toughts, whatever i get releave only for few minutes and my catostrphic toughts are coming back, like if i have headache and convince myself its only anxiety, then after few minutes i feel dizzy i immidately forget its anxiety and i tellmy self, yes i am going to faint or die now, this is really hampering my whole like i would like to get married soon and i always picture myself fainting or dying during my wedding night that is why i am postponing it and my partner is getting very impateint, as i did not tell him my prblem, if i tell him i am sure he will think i am crazy and will leave me and i am not willing to face that very big disappointmetn? advise advise please I love you all Lil
