I know this is an old string, but can I join to? I'm in the same boat. I can get to sleep reasonably well. I can't sleep on my left side because I can hear my heart and it's too distracting. Like others, my witching hours are between 3 and 5AM. This morning, like so many others, I woke up at 3 and felt my heart rate take off almost immediately. I can usually get it under control with meditation style controlled breathing. While that ends the attack after several minutes, I'm still left with a good amount of anxiety. Some nights it only happens once. Some nights I might get it 2 or 3 times. Sometimes, when it's time to get up in the morning, my heart is pounding more than racing and it feels like it wants to start palpitating. It's very, very hard to get a good night sleep and not enough sleep just makes the anxiety worse the next day. This is such a terrible thing to happen to anyone. Since many of these notes were written last year, I sincerely hope and wish and pray you've all found some relief! If you have any secrets to share on how you improved, please let us know. Thanks.
