I have always had dizzy spells but for some reason, it seems like it's been worse than usual the last month or two. Sometimes I feel like I'm really weak, sometimes it's like a buzzy feeling - that one doesn't last long though. Sometimes it's just like a light headed feeling and sometimes it's kind of a numb and distant feeling. And the last few days, I keep feeling trembly. Logically, I'm sure this is just anxiety because if I'm preoccupied, I don't get this feeling. If I'm at work, it's worse but it starts to go away when I leave for lunch or to go home. And it gets worse when I'm thinking about it.
I've been tested for diabetes - most recently being about 4 or 5 months ago. It always comes up negative. But, I keep thinking it's diabetes because if I eat something, sometimes I start to feel better. I am overweight and about 3 years ago I was told I had pre-diabetes. I lost 55 lbs (still have a ways to go) and was tested again and was told I was back on target with the blood sugar and not to worry about it. I've been tested a few times since then and it is always negative.
Does anyone else get this way? Any tips or advice?
