Hi Ann!
I know exactly how you feel! I get this feeling in my head like part of my brain jumps or something. Usually when there's a loud noise, or if I look from one distance to another really quick. I also get a buzzy feeling that goes across the inside of my skull. It'll just kind of shoot across real quick. It's seriously annoying! And always starts up the anxiety. I pretty much spend all day fighting off anxiety due to dizzy spells. I started getting really bad headaches every day for about a month and my head would just feel so heavy from it and I would get real dizzy and my eyes would be blurry. I finally went to go see a doctor about it and she ran a few blood tests. I found out that I have slight anemia and she now has me on iron supplements to try to build that back up. She said that was why I was getting dizzy, headaches, achy, blurry vision and was so tired all the time. I just started the iron yesterday so it hasn't made a huge difference yet, but I do feel a little bit of a difference all the same.
Maybe you could go to a doctor and get tested for anemia. It's actually quite common. You should also be tested for thyroid and diabetes - just to be sure.
Of course, the anxiety itself causes all these symptoms as well. It's so hard to say what it is - the anxiety or some physical problem. That's what makes this so frustrating! But, if you feel you need to, then go to a doctor and get some peace of mind. I went because I thought if it's physical, then at least I'll know - if it's nothing, then I'll know it's just anxiety. But, one way or the other, I'll have a better idea on what I'm dealing with.
Hang in there! I know your symptoms are scary! You will get through this!
