Thanks for translating Diva!

CM, keep thinking positively. In time, you will see the benefits of having a positive and optimistic attitude (even though I know that it is sometimes challenging to stay positive, but you can do it if you set your mind to it).

Members, do any of you practise deep breathing? If so, can you please share with CM how it is helpful to you?

Stay strong CM, we're here for you,

That post is posted in the wingding font. I just figured it out. I cut and pasted it in a new document and changed the font and there was the message. It's like a sleuth book! Anyway, for those interested that is one way to look at his message!

Here is what it said, in case it helps!:

Hi Ya Breanne:

Thank-you for your response, just knowing that there are people like you is a comfort.

I guess the biggest thing for me right now is trying to stay positive (a quality I don't have).  I do try to tell myself that I will get over this, I can handle this, it will pass, but when those panic attacks start it all goes out the window.

I have heard people say to float with the attacks don't fight them & it won't last as long.  How does one float with it?  Does practicing deep breathing really have a positive effect on reducing the severity?

Does one ever get rid of this nightmare or does it just lie dormant until some stressful situation and then it rears its ugly head?

Hi Ya Diva:

Thank-you so much for your words of comfort.  Patience has never been one of my virtues, but today I am trying to be patient knowing that getting myself into a panic will only make matters worse.  So far so good.

cadenmccallum,

We are all here to help you see the light at the end of the tunnel. You will get there!

Is there any way that we can help you right now? What can we do for you?

Hiya CM,

There is a saying in French (my first language). It says: Patience et longueur de temps font plus que force ni que rage. It means roughly ( I am bad at translating...) Patience and length of time do more then strength or rage. This saying helps me a lot when I am in a situation like yours where I have to just wait patiently to heal or recover from something. It is a way to remind myself that in this situation time is on my side. But I know this is tough on you and I totally sympathize with you. Hang in there, this too shall pass!
