Hi Sparky! I also had a dream last night...I dreamed there was a reunion of quitters from this site...in Philadelphia! (Don't ask me why). You were there, and I also saw Luna, Shevie, N2K, Duffis, Judy Penguin, Cheermom, and a lot of the newer quitters. We were all having a wonderful time sitting around a hotel lobby bar. There were some I didn't recognize, but we were all united in our victory over smoking.
In any case, back to your question :p, these reasons to quit are from my quit journal:
I dont want my clothes to smell anymore.
I dont want my breath to smell anymore.
I dont like feeling like a social pariah.
I dont like getting up in the middle of a meeting to have a smoke.
I dont like feeling embarrassed that my car smells like cigarettes.
I dont like burn marks on my floors, furniture, clothes.
I dont like the feeling that Ive left a cigarette burning somewhere.
I dont like always needing to make sure I have cigarettes with me or that I have a lighter.
I dont like ashes on my black clothes!!!
Of course, these were all after reason number 1 - my health.
Thanks, Sparky -- it's always good to bring those out and take another look! Congratulations on 5 days!
Rusty
