I've got a feeling that you are going to make it. There are a few here who have beat other addictions (me included) and are beating nicotine too. You will do this. Keep telling yourself that. Hey DL, Most of us have quit more than once. The first few days are the most difficult and preparation is vital. Don't get down on yourself, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again...you've heard that song. Get back on the horse & ride! Set a new date, get back in here reading everything, doing the exercises, so you can be better prepared. YOU CAN DO IT! We are here to help. Next time come and post, tell us what you are feeling, there is always someone who has been through the same thing and can help you through it. DL, I apologize if you've already answered my question in a previous post but I've been out of the loop a little lately. My question is: Have you completed the workbook exercises and read all you can about nicotine addiction, etc? If not, I suggest trying those things. In my experience, it is best to quit when you've got the mindset to do it. Also, when you do decided it's time again quit and you get tempted to smoke, please post here first with "help" in the subject line and wait for at least five responses before making a decision to light up or not, K?
