A very good thing to have for breakfast which is high in protein is an egg. I mean you can have a cold hard boiled egg ready and waiting for you in the fridge. I do that.. I boil up about 4 eggs and every 2nd day I have an egg for breakfast with a tall glass of O.J. Having the eggs ready just saves time in the a.m. instead of boiling, frying or making an omelette if you have lots of time. Then the in between days I have Special K also with the O.J. Protein is found in so many things that are easy to take to work with you if you are so inclined to cook in advance.. otherwise buy protein bars and keep one in your purse for emergencies including a juice box. Make sure the juice box isn't a juice DRINK. You need to get the JUICE, not the drink.
Do a google check on high protein foods and there will be tons of info there.
Protein takes time to get into your system, it takes approx. 15-20 minutes to feel the effects of the juice.
Another idea as I've mentioned before is to get onto a Diabetic Diet. The foods are healthy for the heart, the sugars, the proteins, the carbs.. all of it!
All the best to you ..
