Re set my date to giving up tomorrow - 14th valentines day as a gift to myself. I just feel like such an idiot because i was doing so well..its going to be a little harder as last time i had champix for the first two weeks which helped a lot but, it is a mind set i need to get back into mainly. I can't go back on the champix as i didn't sleep on it, that is why i came off it so soon so, its going to have to be cold turkey again. I feel like i have reversed all the good i have done!

Fussy,
When your child falls off a bike, the best thing to do is get them back up on that bike again as soon as possible. The longer you wait the more anxiety-provoking it becomes.
You have proven that you CAN quit - you lived a smoke-free life for a month & a half. So, you know you CAN do it.
Personally I think it's best to keep it real by re-setting your meter. But that's up to you. The important thing is that you don't smoke!!!

As a recent 'slipper' myself...let me tell you what I did. I jumped right back on the bandwagon. I did not re-set my quit meter. I did not set a new date.
Just remember, a slip doesn't have to be a relapse if you don't let it. You have already done the most important step, you've acknowledged your slip and came here for advise. You can do this! We're here for you. Don't give up!
