Hi yawl, good luck with whtever route u take to improve. I personaly have improved since taking ciprimal. I know others have aswell. I guess we are all different and therefore react differently to certain medications.
Hi Ruben, I've read about others wondering if their previoius drug use has caused their panic disorder to be what it is today. I personally don't know but my advice would be to do your best to forget about what's happened in the past and move forward. As they say the past is in the past. U can't change the past. I've read books etc where they say not to eat to much as I presume others have felt panicy like u do. It's probably a lot to do with how you are thinking. I'm thinking u probably eat a lot and then are thinking 'oh no I've eaten too much I'm gonna have a panic attack'. I used to worry about what food I had and what it would do to me. Now I just eat anything and any amounts and don't worry about it. I would c your doc aswell. There's no shame in saying u feel panicy. Panic Attacks are a proper disorder. If your doc says to just relax than he's a fool. GO c another one. CYA
Missmdr, your not a weirdo and neither is anybody else here. Lots of others including myself think that the slightest sore throat must mean throat cancer or a pain in the chest must mean a heart attack etcc. We will all get over it!!
Hi toni, your husband sounds like he's a top bloke. So try to realise he aint going to leave u. U r not to blame for anything. It's not just u who has this disorder remember. There are kazzillions of us. You're obviously going through a bad patch. But you will inevitably bounce back up sooner or later. One step forward two steps back!!
I know u guys know deep down, but just to re-enforce it for u, no u won't stop breathing. Our bodies are an amazing thing and they won't just make us stop breathing for no reason. I used to worry about my breathing in the early days but I (and so can u then ) have learnt/more confident to forget about it. Cheerio!
Hi Kevin, anyone with half a brain knows that u aint crazy and there are trillions of people going through similar probs. I get panic attacks but not agoraphobia. The best thing for Agoraphobia from what I've read on the net is gradual exposure. One small step at a time. I have also read that someone had succes when they were forced to go somewhere. I've also read that a person was given a dog and so they wanted to give it walks and so that helped them deal with their agoraphobia. So there are a few ways to go. As for your fear of swallowing, there was a post made by "Eddie" who has the same prob. Nothing lasts forever remember! Adios!
Trust me Rst u aint the only one who feels like that. There are kazillions of people who are/have going through those feelings. I have had the thoughts myself that I have some major disease. YOUR ARE NOT ALONE!
