I--I just found this on-line support group and I am glad as there is nothing like this where I am now living. Anyway: meds. I have had Major Depression for about four years and had to try a lot of stuff to get anything that worked. I was never on Welbutrin but I have, at assorted times, been on Zoloft, Paxil, Remeron, Klonipin (Clonazepam), Ativan, Sezone, and now Effexor and Zoloft and Ativan which was working until we had to move. Now, while I'm not feeling Depression as such, I'm having a lot of trouble with anxiety issues--again. It just plain gets discouraging. If you have a prescriber you trust, which I did at my previous location and do not have here, work with them. If you have other issues--ask them if they have a medical specialist they recommend-at one point my previous pyschiatrist was working with a gynecoligist because I was perimenopausal and that seemed to be screwing up my meds. She also worked with my medical doctor because I also had migraines. It helped me a lot to know my prescribers were talking to each other.
The other thing I did at one point which helped a lot was chart symptoms in relation to menstrual cycles. I hope this helps someone.
