Welbutrin

Lisa, I took Wellbutrin for a couple months and got sick from it. My Blood Creatine levels when thru the roof and gave me major muscle cramps. It was an odd side effect. My PCP told me to stop the meds immediately as it could cause renal failure if my Creatine CK levels didnt drop. Sure enough after stopping taking the Wellbutrin the returned to normal levels. When taking the meds I did feel a bit more calm but the other side effects were potentially dangerous. Be careful

JMC, Thanks for sharing your story with us today. You will find that there are tons of support and encouragement on our site. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to post them here in the support group or e-mail or please contact us at support@Depressioncenter.net. The Depression Center also has a sister site called the "The Panic Center". You can visit this site at www.paniccenter.net. Here you will find our Panic and Anxiety Tests. These tests are not a diagnostic tool and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. If you continue to need extra support our Support Department is always available. Both sites can be very helpful in your unique situation. Please feel free to browse around and use any tools you may find helpful. Take care, Josie __________________________________ The Depression Center Support Team.

I--I just found this on-line support group and I am glad as there is nothing like this where I am now living. Anyway: meds. I have had Major Depression for about four years and had to try a lot of stuff to get anything that worked. I was never on Welbutrin but I have, at assorted times, been on Zoloft, Paxil, Remeron, Klonipin (Clonazepam), Ativan, Sezone, and now Effexor and Zoloft and Ativan which was working until we had to move. Now, while I'm not feeling Depression as such, I'm having a lot of trouble with anxiety issues--again. It just plain gets discouraging. If you have a prescriber you trust, which I did at my previous location and do not have here, work with them. If you have other issues--ask them if they have a medical specialist they recommend-at one point my previous pyschiatrist was working with a gynecoligist because I was perimenopausal and that seemed to be screwing up my meds. She also worked with my medical doctor because I also had migraines. It helped me a lot to know my prescribers were talking to each other. The other thing I did at one point which helped a lot was chart symptoms in relation to menstrual cycles. I hope this helps someone.

I'm wondering how welbutrin worked for anyone and if someone had side effects.I just started. Also take Zoloft and Adderal.I don't like taking any of the meds because I'm scared that it will harm my liver. I have hep-c,as if depression wasn't enough. Thanks
