KittyKat,
Getting the energy to sit and actually write down your thoughts each day can be time consuming and can make it feel like a chore.
Keeping a journal however, is an important aspect of your recovery/therapy.
It allows you and your therapist to really pinpoint what your triggers and moods are over a period of days or months.
I wonder if that is why writers take so long to finish a novel....it can be a full time job! (and usually is)
Find a time that is best for you each day if there is nothing pressing that you should be writing, give yourself options, morning or in the evening, do not be regimented, because when you are more in control of the task, it tends to be more enjoyable, and easier to put down onto paper.
I hope this helps,
Angela
