Introducing myself

for 8 år siden 0 47 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
So my wife has decided not to be with me anymore and she has left my son back home in India with her dad and she is back into Canada working. What mother would do such a thing like that? I missed 1 year of my son's life and my son has been in India from November 2015 up until April of 2016.. What mother would be away from their child? Also, she says that she does not want me in any part of my son's life. Who would do such a thing. So I have decided, sure, I will move on and she will suffer the loss and when my son grows up, he will then realize and then she will lose him too. Her mother passed away last month. I felt sorry and bad but now I dont.

She refuses to be reuinted with family...and she told me that her child is not mind. She refuses to listen or make amends..This is why pain is inevitable.....

Making plans may be a good thing. It may help to focus on the present and the future and less on the past. However, if you do not feel ready to make any future plans that is ok too.You do what you feel is right for you right now.  I wish I could say something to take all the pain away; however, I think the format of any support group limits our interactions. If you feel it would be helpful I encourage you to seek out counselling or anything you feel might help support you right now. Working on this program would also be a great start. Or if nothing else at least know that we are listening and wishing the best for you.

If I may ask, how would making my plans for the future be a good thing? It is either I get back with my marriage or I move on. And my son will not have a bright future. And yes I am upset and uncertain. But I do not know what else to do. I have been talking to loved ones but I have very few of them. And yes this is a very difficult situation for me and I am a wreck for it. I have lost everything. I do not care if I do not gain anything at this point.

I can read that this is a very difficult situation for you. Being down and upset while you are uncertain about your marriage is completely normal. Allow your feelings to come without judgement. Try to take care of yourself during this difficult time, meditation, talking to loved ones, resting, doing productive or pleasant activities even if you don't feel like it all can help. Making plans for the future is also important so I am glad you are looking ahead. You will get through this and it will get easier.

To be honest Ashley, I do not know. I am not sure if you recall my story. She will return back home from India in 8 days. I do not know if she will return with or without my child. If she decided to return home alone and/or if she decided to move on without me, then yes the move is still on. I am starting to make my plan to move to a different city and live life alone. I have friends in that other city where I plan on moving to and I do not plan on returning back home. If she decides to move on, then whatever actions she has caused at this point will impact the child. Therefore, regardless of me staying and being there for him, nothing will matter as she is already being unproductive and not realizing the importance of family. Once a family, always a family but to her, her own parents are her family and she doesnt need anyone else. So at this point, I am so depressed and so tensed...I really do not want to make this decision and run away. I have tried to make amends but I am tired of doing it alone. So this is how I am feeling.

Hi AKS,

I just wanted to check in to see how you are doing? Perhaps a move and big change might be helpful. Being completely alone may be counter productive though - as social creatures, we humans need social contact.. How are you feeling? Is the move still in progress?

I have decided to move on and quit depression and be sad. I have decided to move out of my city and live life alone. No more relationship, no more family, and I quit being a father and a husband. 2016 will be a new life for me and being single means no hassle....and not being a father anymore is for the best....Thank you all for your support..
