Hmmm, let me see...
I feel like a stuffed sausage from the 12 lb weight gain, a hot air balloon from the new digestive problems and a human outhouse from the perennial wind. Sorry to be so graphic but I'm getting fed UP man. My poor poor husband. I haven't even got a dog to blame it on!
I feel like I'm drinking gravel with every fibre supplement (but at least it's orange flavour so it's TASTY gravel!)
I feel like the fire eater at the circus. The heartburn is ridiculous.
I feel like if I see one more doctor for one more 'what is this symptomatic of?' checkup I'll go completely mental.
I feel like I'm going through a mid life crisis with all the wardrobe/hair/appearance changes I'm making along with the quit. If I keep this up, DH may wonder if I've got a little sumpin' sumpin' on the side (Nope, I'm far to FAT now for any such thing!)
I feel annoyed that I've got increased lung capacity but still have such a gi-normous tickle in my chest. When oh when will it GO? Oh yeah, Tuesday, I forgot. The sixteenth Tuesday in the year 2015 maybe.
I feel...my fingers and toes again! My circulation is so much better. And wot hey, my skin is pink. A good thing? Could it be?
Nah. Overall I feel like total crap physically, like my body is in chaos from the sudden stop of 20 years of abuse. I can only imagine toxins seeping through my pores with every vigorous workout.
But I'll keep working out. I'll keep on NOT smoking. I feel over the moon that I don't smoke anymore and instead of feeling a personal pity party when I see someone smoking, I think 'so long sucka, I've quit already!'
It sucks to feel so crap and so good all at the same time, I must admit it's a bit confusing. I'd rate it 80/20 positive v. negative. I don't like feeling lousy but I must admit I felt worse when I smoked.
Ask me at 700 days I bet I'll be singing a different tune entirely ;)
