Today I thought alot about my dad. He died in 1981 at age 47 of terminal cancer. So age 47 scares me, I will be 47 next year. I have to stay quit this time.
My dad smoked about 2 - 3 packs of smokes a day, He was diagnosed with cancer in february of 1981, went through chemo, which didnt helped, just prolonged it. He started out at 6'4, 250 lbs and the last time he went to the hospital he only wieghed ninty pounds he died a few days later in August 1981.
Even though I knew he had cancer from smoking, I still keeped smoking
30 years of it.
It doesnt help to dwell on the past, I just want to get it out and move on. 7 days quit and counting. For You Dad
